New CD

"Tam Lin and More Songs by Robert Burns" features 18 tracks covering a wide range of the Bard's work: drinking songs, love songs, laments, humourous love songs, and a political rabble-rouser.
The title track is an ancient ballad dating to the mid-1500s that Burns collected and added a couple verses to. The other songs on the CD have more of Burns in them. The other songs on the CD are also shorter. At 9 minutes "Tam Lin" runs a wee bit longer than the other songs which mostly run 2 minutes more or less.
